CONTENT

This training consists of 5 courses, focusing on key elements to enable hotel reactive sales teams to differentiate your offering and ultimately transform business results, through generating sales and conversions.

Content includes:

  1. Your Target Market – identifying your hotels ideal enquiry, ideal customer or ideal agent. Focus on generating and converting enquiries that are right for your hotel sales strategy
  2. Responding Online – How to prioritise your enquiries, write stand-out email responses and generate attention-grabbing follow up emails
  3. Responding by Voice – Having conversations, asking the right questions to qualify your lead and gain commitment by proposing next steps
  4. Managing the Price Conversation – Dealing with discount requests using questions, cost logic, market logic and trading concessions
  5. Selling on a Site Inspection – Best practice approach to site visits and show-arounds. Tailor the site visit to what is important to the customer, to increase possibility of conversion.
  6. Weekly Bulletin videos on the training platform are provided during the duration of the training, covering a variety of relevant and current content for delegates to enjoy

PARTICIPANT ELIGIBILITY

This training is best suited to your Reactive Sales team members who handle and convert meeting, event, and group enquiries.  This is an effective training resource to use for new starters in the team, or as a refresher for existing team members.

TRAINING DELIVERY

The training is self-paced and modular (not in a classroom) and taken through an online learning platform, called Sales Gym. It consists of a series of videos, along with knowledge checks and exercises for delegates to complete. The full course consists of 27 videos and the average length of each is 4.5 minutes.  Knowledge checks are then done, with an 80% pass rate required to continue to the next session.

On average, we recommend completing 1 course every 2 weeks.  This would mean the training should ideally be completed within 10 weeks.

Yes, you will continue to have access to the content and platform for 1 year from the date you first logged in.

The training is fully self-paced and there is no facilitation or classroom elements.  We are mindful of the high volume of work Reactive Sales team members have on a daily basis, therefore the training is designed to fit within your unique schedule and workload.

ADMINISTRATION & PAYMENT

The 2025 cost per delegate is GBP199.00 (Great British Pounds) plus VAT (UK only).

This is subject to increase annually by the training provider.

Fees are due for payment in Pound Sterling (GBP) on the enrolment form. The payment is facilitated securely via Stripe, directly with the training provider, MG Sales Performance. ONLY credit card payments are accepted, and a secure Stripe payment link is supplied on the enrolment form from the training provider.

No. Payments must be made directly to the training provider via the secure Stripe payment link on the enrolment form.

No. This training is offered by a 3rd party training company, MG Sales Performance, therefore it sits outside of your funded learning bundle.

 

No. With multiple countries across EMEA participating in this training, EFTs / cross-border bank transfers pose administration challenges and impose additional costs to both hotels and the supplier.  To keep the training as cost effective as possible, ALL payments must be made directly to the training provider, by using a credit card and paying via the secure Stripe link on the enrolment form.
